Rugby League World Cup 2008

 

The Rugby League World Cup is organised by the Rugby League International Federation, the governing body.  It was first held in 1954 in France, and will next be contested in Australia in 2008, who are also the current world champions.  The next Rugby League World Cup is to be held in Australia in 2008

Rugby League in Ireland

 

 

The Ireland national rugby league team, is the professional rugby league team representing Ireland. The professional team is dominated by players from Super League and, sometimes also includes players from the Australian NRL. Ireland is also represented by the Ireland A Wolfhounds which is made up of players from the domestic Irish competition.
