We have tumbled, as though through error, into a world which by all evidence was not intended for us. We cling to a fragment of a grain of sand until such time as the chill of death shall return us to primal matter. We strut for a tiny moment upon a tiny stage, well knowing that all our aspirations are doomed to ultimate failure and that everything we have achieved will perish with our race leaving the universe as though we had never existed.
What a song.

Great song alright Esprit. Today I've been mostly listening to ... 1977 by Ash. A truly stunning album from Stevey's friend up norf. This song (oh yeah) really brings me back to the summer of 1996 and the lyrics in the song echo the joy of teenage years and first love. Girl from mars is a classic as well and there's no real bad song on the album.
Track listing and lyrics here.

She also does a bitchin version of To Romona, but it'd be a complete injustice if I didn't post up Dylans...
I should have listened to my mother and become a bookie.

Of lock stock fame
Just one of them songs I can listen to all day for no apparent reason.
They were probably a shower of wankers but this was a decent song.

Listening to Ray a lot these days. He should be way bigger in music than he is.
