Well done Clancy. And arent Nigel Tinklers horses flying !!!!!

Its an old saying mate as far as this game goes, believe what you see and not what you hear. You can add "dont believe what you read" as well.

Is anybody else out there sick of being inundated with "tips" from "celebrities, presenters etc". I use Twitter to get the up to the minute racing info and track news etc but the tracks now have a very annoying trait of retweeting the selections of some of the biggest morons on the box. In the last couple of days i could have read the "hot tips" from the likes of Mike Cattermole, Oli Bell, Ben Linfoot (?? who ?? ), Dave Smith ( ??)
My advice is ignore every single one of them. In all probability they know the same as you or less !

Use your own eyes and pick your own !

Although Nicholas T won last week - I think I remember QC saying that today would probably be his target - ran in race in previous years - 4.10 Ayr - 4 pound lower than last year.

    I'm overwhelmed.
Dunno who he is and dont care either. There are so many wannabe's and "tipsters" out there. Everybody wants to be one. And 99.9% wouldnt know the front of the horse from the back and wouldnt have two pennies to scratch their arses with.

He is actually only a pound lower than last year. He was raised to 85 for his very unlucky second to Victory Command at Hamilton a fortnight ago and has a 4lb penalty for his win here last week. His new handicap mark will be revealed tomorrow but he will be back into the 90's for sure.

No need to tell you that Mrs Crossett is on.

The good lady did pick that one herself though, i didnt bother with the race. Too few runners.

I thought someone might have mentioned Young Tiger to put in the notebook. Have a look at its race at Donny last Thursday.

Just looked - Absolutely - Young Tiger goes straight in the notebook - Perfect candidate.

And I checked out another you mentioned - lochnagar or something - didn't jump out at me although it got a bad ride - but nothing to stop you adding it if you want.

All the other jockeys were guilty of giving the winner far too big a lead.

How long are you backing it for though ? It went in the notebook and then won next time out. Shouldnt that have been the end of it ?

It would have been only for you

It was you that pointed out that this was probably his target.

Could I have my forty quid back please?

    Thank you.

So yesterday afternoon it was the jockeys fault and last night it was my fault.
I think you need to look nearer home. And definitely take more water in it.

I wont post on your thread again, its too much hassle. And i definitely wont hold that gun to your head again !

Ceasars Comet was unlucky not to finish 3rd in the 4.45 at Galway today, had the worst possible draw. Think it will win soon at a good price, worth going into the notebook

A horse I stuck in the notebook after watching it's last run was due to go today but I see it has been pulled out - Anybody know was it backed overnight or anything - I don't know how to check that.

Was 25/1 outsider last time - But I thought it ran a very nice race - Have a look at it's last race and see what you think.

REGULATOR - Was due to run in 8.00 Southwell tonight.

Hills opened up 13/2 in their early afternoon guessing book.
It opened a general 7/2 / 4/1 when the rest went up.
