    Found it.
It was over a horse called Dan De Man that won at Newcastle in December 1997. It had raced in three bumpers and seven novice hurdles and shown nothing. It was a big price every time it ran and then all of a sudden it was gambled on at Newcastle down to 6/1 and sluiced in. The stewards had her in and the explanation was that it hadnt stayed in its previous three runs and the combination of the drop back in trip and the better ground helped. (And the strategically placed money on its nose )
It went on to win six races so no doubt they knew what they had.

    Sound familiar ????

It would have been better if i did it. I only backed My Renaissance but the missus did it and backed My Renaissance separate. She was on at 7's and 9/4 although there was better around for both. Its bloody hard getting on sometimes
Hopefully some of the lads on here done the double as well.

Dreal Deal is entered in a mile and a half race at Thurles next Thursday. He is rated just 45 on the flat which is 58lb below his current hurdles rating of 103. But i dont think the Irish handicapper has sussed this one yet and i reckon he will be at least a 120 horse.
    At least !
So he is probably going to run off a mark at least 70lb below what his hurdle mark may well be.

I shall be watching only from now on though.

    Non standard times mate.
Its been done because the BHA staff have all just learned to tell the time and we are just trying to confuse them.

I think its one of the cleaners who do the tissue. And they actually put it in their members package. I've always wished that i could get a bet on at the prices they put up.

I wouldnt disagree with those mate with the exception of Chelmsford. I still do the odd all weather race or two but cant touch that place.

I've done the first of Sundays and now i'm having half an hour on the trainers.
Sam England has got Marks Choice in at Ponty on Monday but it may not get a run. But she also has it in at Ayr next Thursday.
Oksana has been put up 7lb for Saturdays Market Rasen win and she is in at Sedgefield next Wednesday.
My Renaissance is also down to run at Sedgefield that day and he will run with a penalty. He will be reassessed for his win next Tuesday but it wont kick in until the Saturday.
She's also had Raashdy entered in a few races over the past week or two. Its declared for Kelso on Sunday but is also in at Sedgefield on Wednesday. It needs to regain some form though.

And Sir Micky has got a load out over the next week or so. If i get chance later i'll have a run thru some of them.
