We donít like the bookies winning but one great thing about the incredible success of Paddypower is that a lot of the ordinary staff have made serious money.

Shares went from a pound to 120 and maybe more - I donít track it - but even the lowly cashier that received a thousand shares is sitting nicely if he/ she held on to them.

There are many millionaires in the group now - those that stuck in a few grand from savings or wages - and those further up the food chain that received bigger allotments.

Good luck to them / particularly the shop staff that have to put up with a lot of crap on a daily basis.

In the 6.00 Flying Verse won last week in Class 3 and is now 4 lbs lower in Class 4 - would need Quixall to explain that.

The winner of that race rings a bell....

Think we were told to keep our eyes on that one a while ago.

    Shite, I missed it.

    Hope some of you remembered.

Samphire Coast runs tomorrow in 7.55 at Chelmsford.

    25/1.

He won an identical race to this less than 2 years ago. Mark has gone down 9lbs since.

Hopefully his last run was just a warm up to this race.

Just listening to radio sports there and they were talking about Colin Keane - maybe about article in post
but anyway Colin said that he was grateful to Ger lyons because he releases him even if he has a horse in the race if Col thinks he has a better chance on something else

might be worth remembering if the situation arises

Price wise goes for Mojo Star in Leger.
I went back and looked at Irish Derby where he had bad run and was hampered but I couldn’t see him getting near Hurricane - and Hurricane slaughtered them in France.

He is bred to stay and at about evens I am having my max bet on it -

and I know even Shergar could only finish fourth in Leger.

I wouldn’t think that there is anything in horserace betting that generated more controversy and content and really interesting research and feedback - than the old Van Der Wheil Method which started out in the Sporting Chronicle Handicap Book - people still seek the golden goose from it.

It went on for years and still does - don’t know if there were any fans of The Flying Dutchman here.
